The exhibition presents a series of recent works, including videos, installations and sound pieces, among others. Describing himself as a “Private Ear”, the artist looks through his work into the political effect of listening. Abu Hamdan’s work has been part of numerous international exhibitions, including the 2019 Venice Biennale. He is one of four artists shortlisted for the 2019 Turner Prize.
