PRINTMAKING EXHIBITION

After organising many painting and sculpting exhibitions since its establishment, Gallery Karim presents its first experience in the field of Print-making by hosting nine Arab artists from different generations and countries. Given the limited popular knowledge of this type of art in comparison to the art of painting or sculpting, and the existence of distinguished artists whose works are based on their own experiences expressed through research, abstract art, as well as art with a reference to humanitarian, social, and existential themes investigated in print-making engravings with the use of various technique, this exhibition constitutes a new addition to the print-making of Arab and Middle Eastern graphic art. All of the above gave this exhibition a diversified character and made it a remarkable occasion to follow up and reflect on how the graphic artist invests in various technical solutions and different exhibiting means in order to achieve his goals.
