The CHANEL Watchmaking Creation Studio pays tribute to Gabrielle Chanel’s universe of Beauty with the CHANEL Blush Watch Capsule Collection. Vibrant in colour and spirit, the collection translates the artistry of makeup into contemporary watchmaking, merging pigments, textures, and architectural precision into each timepiece.

A highlight of the collection is the J12 BOX “Dripping Art,” a limited edition of five sets, conceived as a watchmaking pentaptych. Inspired by dripping art, the ensemble reproduces nail polish splashes in Grand Feu enamel on the ceramic dials of five J12 watches, creating a visual dialogue across the set. Development required 200 hours of research and a hundred colour tests to achieve this precise enamel-on-ceramic technique.

Presented in a lacquered wooden box, the interior mirrors the splash motif, connecting each watch as part of a cohesive artwork. Each watch features a black highly resistant ceramic case, a Caliber 12.1 self-winding manufacture movement, COSC-certified chronometer, sapphire crystal caseback, and five brilliant-cut diamonds. The set exemplifies the Maison’s dedication to métiers d’art and innovative craftsmanship, transforming colour, texture, and form into a living object of contemporary elegance.

Through techniques such as Grand Feu enamel, pad printing, miniature painting, and gold sculpting, the Blush Watch Capsule Collection elevates CHANEL Beauty symbols into exquisite, wearable art. Dripping Art, in particular, embodies a daring dialogue between spontaneity and technical mastery, offering collectors a rare convergence of fine watchmaking and painterly expression.
