Gulf Photo Plus

Gulf Photo Plus (GPP) is the region’s center for photography, a community organization cultivating visual practices and cultural production locally in the UAE, and internationally, across MENASA. GPP engages, educates, and inspires with exhibitions, educational workshops, art programs, community events, state-of-the-art fine art archival printing and film processing services, and specialized resources.

As part of our commitment to developing regional visual and critical literacy, we provide opportunities for emerging talent and the wider community to partake in free artist talks, seminars, panel events, portfolio reviews, screenings, photo walks, and more. GPP has garnered a reputation as a leader in photography events both in the Gulf region and internationally, with the region’s longest-running international photography event, GPP Photo Week, and SlideFest evenings where developing artists can share projects and find further inspiration.

Gulf Photo Plus main space at Alserkal Avenue, Dubai regularly hosts exhibitions, photography workshops, provides film developing and scanning services, and fine art printing services, and contains a shop for camera equipment, film, and photography books.
