Founded in 2011 in Dubai, the Salsali Private Museum (SPM) stands as a manifestation of Ramin Salsali’s deep passion for art and his dedication to cultivating a vibrant cultural community. As the pioneer private museum for Contemporary art in the region, SPM has evolved into a cultural hub and collector centre, offering a platform for both emerging and established art enthusiasts. SPM’s distinctive concept, which prioritises simplicity and accessibility, aims to eliminate barriers and inspire individuals to initiate and showcase their art collections.
Ramin Salsali, an avid art collector, entrepreneur and arts patron, established
the museum with the vision of sharing his extensive collection comprising over 900 pieces, spanning painting, photography, video art, sculpture and installations. SPM also serves as a venue for collections from guest collectors and traveling exhibitions. Rooted in a mission to contribute to the development
of art, culture, and creative communities, the museum functions as a supportive platform for artists and collectors, fostering a culture of collecting and sharing art with the public.
Recognised as the Patron of the Arts by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum for multiple consecutive years, Salsali continues to play a pivotal role in shaping Dubai as a hub for Middle Eastern art and culture. With a focus on social responsibility and unwavering commitment, SPM serves as a beacon for fostering peaceful communication among cultures through the universal language of art.
