KINETIC SCULPTURE

Kinetic art refers to sculpture perceivable by movement. It relates to motion that is able to extend the viewer’s relationship to the object in space, sometimes referred to as mobiles. Though kinetic art can take into account a variety of styles and techniques, some of which can be done via motors, machines or electrically powered systems, kinetic art can also include sculptures that move via the wind or, today, even virtual movements.
