Lawrie Shabibi presents A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose, a solo exhibition by Mandy El-Sayegh curated by Sara Raza, scheduled to run from 22 February to 28 March 2024. Mandy El-Sayegh works across diverse media to examine how social, cultural and political orders are formed and deconstructed. In her works she collages disparate fragments of information together, investigating how meaning could emerge from the relationship between these different source materials. The exhibition will encompass large-scale paintings, immersive installations and a performance. This is El-Sayegh’s first solo exhibition in the Middle East.
