The Takreem Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded by Ricardo Karam, hosts a live auction at the prestigious Hotel De Paris Monte-Carlo, Salle Empire, on May 9th, 2024, at 19:00.
Collaborating with Julien-Vincent Brunie, Christie’s International General Director of Private Sales, the auction aims to raise funds to support vulnerable children in Lebanon, providing them with access to education, protection, and hope.
Since its establishment in 2009, the Takreem Foundation has been committed to recognising and celebrating outstanding Arab achievements worldwide. It aims to bridge cultures and honour individuals who have made significant contributions to their communities. Over the years, Takreem has honoured laureates from nearly every Arab country, fostering connections across North Africa, the Middle East, the Gulf, and the Arab diaspora.
Ricardo Karam, Founder, and Executive Chairman of Takreem Foundation, emphasised the organisation’s goal of creating an environment for future generations by providing diverse role models. The annual fundraising dinners, including the upcoming live auction in Monaco, play a crucial role in supporting humanitarian projects.
The event will pay tribute to notable individuals such as Ms Sami Halaby and Mr Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, while honouring the memory of Mr Iskandar Safa, among others, for their contributions to society.
Zoubeida Zorkot, Executive Director at Takreem Foundation, expressed gratitude for the generous support of sponsors like CMB Monaco, a leading private bank. She highlighted the importance of collective action in addressing the needs of vulnerable children and fostering cross-cultural connections.
Francesco Grosoli, CEO of CMB Monaco, echoed this sentiment, expressing pride in supporting a foundation that honours Arab achievements worldwide. He emphasised the bank’s commitment to strengthening ties within the vibrant Arab community and supporting their financial goals and aspirations.
