Mark Hachem Gallery unveils ‘Introspection,’ a solo exhibition by Lebanese-Armenian artist Raffi Yedalian, opening on July 25 until the 10th of August in Beirut. “Introspection” invites viewers to engage with the subtle and profound forces that shape our consciousness. Yedalian’s work encourages moments of reflection amidst the chaos of modern life, offering a sanctuary where the beauty of the inner self can be explored. Through this collection, Yedalian probes the essence of human existence, capturing the ephemeral nature of thoughts and emotions. The exhibition acts as a mirror to our innermost selves, illuminating the dualities of light and shadow, certainty and doubt.

The concept of introspection, central to this exhibition, challenges the viewers to reevaluate their perceptions and seek understanding beyond the surface. Yedalian’s art provides a philosophical exploration, urging visitors to embrace ambiguity, find meaning in the fluid nature of their identities, and recognise the interconnectedness of all aspects of their being. ‘Introspection’ promises a transformative journey into the complexities of the inner worlds, inspiring viewers to connect with their reflective thoughts and achieve a deeper understanding of the self.
Born in 1973 in Beirut, Yedalian studied Etching at the Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) and pursued Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Art Toros Roslin. His art is showcased in collections worldwide, including the Sursock Museum in Beirut, Vatican City, and the Museum of The Armenian Genocide in Armenia.
