Saleh Barakat Gallery presents the new work of Hala Ezzeddine in a solo exhibition titled ‘Portrait of Beirut’ from 25 April until 25 May 2024.
Hala Ezzeddine’s artworks inhabit a realm between abstraction and recognisable forms, blurring the boundaries of perspective. Her acrylic, pencil, and sanguine creations in her exhibition at Saleh Barakat Gallery portray landscapes that invite viewer immersion while maintaining an enigmatic quality.
Her cityscapes transcend conventional shapes, emphasising volume, depth, and space, imbuing her work with a compelling yet elusive essence. Through the seamless interplay of colour and tone, Ezzeddine guides viewers through the picture plane, infusing each piece with a distinct energy, evoking a sense of uniqueness in every image. Her pieces captivate with their ability to straddle the line between the tangible and the abstract, offering viewers a visual journey through the interplay of form and perception.
