Under the banner of “What Palestine Brings to the World,” the Institut du Monde Arabe aims to illuminate Palestine’s profound artistic, poetic, and cultural allure. This title also presents a challenge to the world, offering a fresh perspective: Palestine is a significant contributor to humanity, sharing its talents, positive energy, and aspirations.
This event is remarkable both in its duration and its breadth, drawing inspiration from both history and contemporary life. To bring this vision to life, four exhibitions, a text-rich book, and a multitude of events encompassing music, literature, cinema, dance, poetry, and surprises were orchestrated.

Elias Sanbar, Marion Slitine, Albert Dichy, Éric Delpont, and Frédérique Mehdi approached this project with a shared passion. Beginning with the publication of the third edition of the book review Araborama, dedicated to Palestine in close collaboration with Le Seuil. In the heartfelt foreword, Hugues Jallon, its president, and others emphasised that Palestine exists authentically, with a rich history spanning millennia, resisting challenges, ideologies, and distortions. Palestine’s collective identity, diaspora, affiliation, and lived experiences have nurtured countless thinkers and artists who explore and celebrate its unique history. Palestine is revered worldwide as both a symbol and a wellspring of intellectual, cultural, artistic, and human inspiration.
In closing, the exhibition echoes the sentiment from the foreword: They aim to amplify the voices and creative minds that define Palestine’s unique essence. This event will commence with two evening performances by the fraternal Trio Joubran, symbolising the spirit of a people and embarking on a six-month journey through a reinvigorated Palestine.
